Large Filter Handling
Be extra cautious when handling 6.6×6.6 filters due to their size and cost. Always use proper filter gloves and secure them firmly in the trays.

Vignetting Check
With large-format lenses and wider focal lengths, always double-check for vignetting, especially when stacking multiple filters. Test thoroughly before committing to a take.

Swing-Away Benefit
The swing-away configuration is highly recommended for the LMB 6×6 due to the size of the filters and lenses. It allows for fast and safe lens changes without removing the entire matte box.

Robust Support
When rod-mounted, ensure your rod system and camera baseplate are robust enough to support the combined weight of the matte box, flags, and large filters.

Cleaning Protocol
Maintain meticulous cleanliness of the matte box, especially the filter stages and flags. Dust or smudges on these large filters will be more noticeable.
