Range Testing
Before a shoot, always test the effective range in your specific environment, as walls, obstacles, and other RF interference can reduce the advertised line-of-sight distance.
Antenna Care
Ensure the included Vaxis “Sword” antennas are always securely attached and handled with care to prevent damage, as they are crucial for optimal signal.
Battery Plates
Be aware of the specific battery plates on your TX (often NP-F) and RX (often V-mount/Gold-mount) units for proper power planning and battery allocation.
Channel Selection
Use the OLED display to select the clearest channel, especially if you’re in an RF-congested area. Avoid automatic channel selection if you know there’s significant interference.
Firmware Updates
