  • Michael Pearce

    Director

    Michael is a well-known face in the industry, with a reputation for delivering consistently for clients through a calm, personal approach.

    As one of XO’s founding Directors, he brings decades of experience across a wide range of productions—from large-scale multicam reality shows to technically demanding documentaries.

    Whether shooting in the UK or overseas, on big productions or small, Michael is known for being hands-on and fully committed. He’s passionate about providing the best possible service and leaves no stone unturned.

  • Nancy Jones

    Account Manager

    Since 2015, Nancy has been an integral part of supporting productions of all scales, from independent short films and dynamic music promos to demanding HETV series. Known for unwavering, genuine customer care and resilience in even the most fast-paced environments, Nancy ensures every production not only gets the right equipment but also a seamless, stress-free experience. She’s always looking to meet new people, collaborate and support.

  • Matt Jacobson

    Director

    Matt’s been working with cameras, lights, and everything in between for over 20 years. He’s got deep technical know-how and a calm, no-fuss approach that crews trust when the pressure’s on. From sorting bookings to troubleshooting gear on the fly, he makes sure productions get exactly what they need, when they need it.

  • Georgia Moore

    Technician & Trainee Engineer

    Having started as a kitroom trainee 4 years ago, Georgia has progressed to a high level of expertise across the whole range of equipment that XO has to offer. From simple setup to more complex troubleshooting, she can offer clients a helpful and knowledgeable hand during their time with XO.

    Alongside her technician duties, she is also training in the field of engineering, gaining valuable skills in kit maintenance and repair. All of this ensures that Georgia can help clients leave with the highest quality kit; both in perfect condition and precisely tailored to the individual needs of their production.

  • Simon Kmiec

    Operations Manager

    With over 20 years of combined experience in kitroom operations and freelancing, Simon brings a rare 360° perspective to camera gear and production equipment. His deep understanding of what works—both technically and practically—means your kit won’t just meet expectations, it’ll exceed them.

    Simon’s passion for stills photography started young, when an old Pentax ME Super sparked a lifelong obsession with all things camera-related. That early inspiration turned into a career built on the motto: “Make your passion your job, and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

    As Kitroom Manager at XO, Simon keeps things hands-on—personally checking, maintaining, and fine-tuning every piece of kit before it leaves the building. Need technical support? He’s just a phone call away, always ready to get you back on track.

  • Shaun Bayliss

    Head of Engineering & Technical Lead

    Shaun started on the camera floor at Shift4 over 10 years ago after some time juggling life as a support worker and freelance photographer/videographer, shooting club nights, music videos and fashion promos. After working as a camera trainee on shoots from Burberry commercials to BBC’s ‘People Just do Nothing’, he showed a keen interest in how things worked (or didn’t) and worked his way into engineering; attending multiple lens training courses including Cooke Optics, Zeiss and Leitz as well as learning to repair and service cameras, lighting and essentially all components needed for a production. After a brief time at Canon as a repair technician, Shaun joined the XO team to bring his technical knowledge and expertise. He has a passion for problem solving and fixing any piece of equipment that makes its way to him

  • Raff Filomeno

    Director

    With a background across the creative industries, Raff brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and operational precision to his role at XO.

    As head of marketing and a key force in operations, he designs and refines systems that enhance internal workflows, ensuring smooth collaboration and consistent results for our clients.

    Raff believes that thoughtful, well-structured processes are the backbone of exceptional client service. His meticulous approach helps align the team, reduce friction, and create space for creativity.

    By quietly championing both innovation and dependability, Raff ensures our clients feel supported at every step, making their experience with XO seamless.

    Finance Director

    Throughout my career as a finance director I have really enjoyed working with entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses like XO, helping them grow and to achieve their goals.

    I have over 30 years’ experience across a variety of different types of organisations and different industries that’s given breadth and depth to my experience.

    It’s this variety that allows me to add real value to businesses and their owners.
