Use the pair to create separation.
Place one tube behind or beside talent as a rim or colour accent and use the second on the opposite side of the frame to add depth rather than grouping both together.
Synchronise effects over CRMX or DMX.
When both tubes need to change colour or run pixel effects together, external control gives you much more repeatable timing than operating each fixture manually.
Use the pixels for movement within the frame.
Each tube has eight controllable zones, so colour can travel along the fixture rather than the entire tube simply changing at once.
Take advantage of the internal batteries.
Cable-free operation is particularly useful inside vehicles, shelves, furniture and set dressing where power leads would be visible or difficult to route.
Use mains power for longer setups.
Nanlite quote around 1 hour 26 minutes at full brightness per tube, so continuous AC power is preferable for longer studio days or locked-off setups.
Use green/magenta correction when matching other sources.
The ±100 adjustment helps when working around practical LEDs, fluorescents or mixed fixtures that do not match cleanly using colour temperature alone.
Rig one or both tubes in frame when it suits the design.
